Description

The Bayer-Boatwrights, a Portland-based multiracial family, gather together for the 60th birthday party of patriarch Greg Boatwright (Tim Robbins), a party that his wife Audrey Bayer (Holly Hunter) meticulously planned. However, Audrey’s careful planning falls apart when Ramon (Daniel Zovatto), one of their adopted sons, begins hallucinating the figures 11:11. Ramon’s subsequent therapy sessions with Dr. Farid Shokrani (Peter Macdissi) bring the Bayer-Boatwrights and the Shokranis together so they can help each other with their respective crises. The “Here and Now” cast also includes Jerrika Hinton as Ashley, the Bayer-Boatwrights’ adopted daughter; Joe Williamson as Malcolm Collins, Ashley’s husband; Raymond Lee as Duc, the Bayer-Boatwrights’ other adopted son; and Sosie Bacon as Kristen, the Bayer-Boatwrights’ only biological child. Rounding out the cast are Andy Bean as Henry, Ramon’s boyfriend, and Marwan Salama as Navid Shokrani, Dr. Farid’s son and Kristen’s friend.
